Orion Auto Glass never uses substandard material. We only use the highest quality OEM (original equipment manufacturer) glass from companies such as Pilkington, PPG, and Guardian. These are all manufacturers of OEM glass. OEM is commonly mistaken with dealer glass, however, OEM simply means the glass is not aftermarket and is vehicle specific as well as approved by the DOT (Department of Transportation).

AGRSS and DOW certification is like OSHA for auto glass - it requires the participating shop to always provide and install the best available products in the most professional manner. AGRSS certification is not just given to anyone it must be tested for and earned. Failure to comply with AGRSS standards results in loss of certification and possible fines. As of 2010 many insurance companies will require AGRSS certified shops only to provide auto glass installation for their customers. Urethane certification is also required by all insurance companies and AGRSS, failure to comply with required adhesive installation procedure or use of inferior products could cause adhesive failure during a collision. Orion carries certifications with DOW and DINITROL, both these adhesives are used in OEM applications by all major auto manufacturers.
